York Knights have added to their squad with the signing of Toa Mata’afa until the end of 2026
The Samoan back can cover at full-back, winger or centre, and he joins York after two seasons playing in France, most recently with FC Lezignan after initially joining Baroudeur de Pia.

The 26-year old spent four seasons at Leeds Rhinos, where she was a 2022 Grand Final winner, and a three time Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup finalist, including in 2022 when she scored for the Rhinos and was named Player of the Match in the defeat by St.Helens at Elland Road.

York Valkyrie forward, Megan Pakulis is leaving the club to take up an opportunity in Australia in the NRLW.
The 28 year-old will join Gold Coast Titans for their season which gets underway in July, but is linking up with them in advance as part of their pre-season preparation.
