A police investigation is underway after a car was set on fire in a York suburb.

The vehicle has been left damaged after the incident in Thoresby Road, Acomb, at about 2am on Sunday (June 8).
A MAIN road near York was closed to allow police investigations to be carried out following a crash in the early hours of Sunday, 8 June.
