York City FC men’s side earned a vital point at home in the National League to play-off hopefuls Boreham Wood last night.

Interim boss Mikey Morton took charge once again ahead of the clash, and oversaw Adam Crookes score his second in as many games to put the Minstermen ahead.

A Boreham Wood equaliser made the score 1-1, a scoreline which remained until the final whistle.

City will next play 20th placed Yeovil Town on Saturday, a match that will likely prove vital in York’s bid to avoid relegation.
