The City of York Hockey Men’s First Team returned to action at the weekend after two weeks out due to frozen pitches, and were on the losing end of 4-3 thriller against Leeds third team.

• York Valkyrie forward, Megan Pakulis is leaving the club to take up an opportunity in Australia in the NRLW.

  The 28 year-old will join Gold Coast Titans for their season which gets underway in July, but is linking up with them in advance as part of their pre-season preparation.

• Dan Pybus signs a two and a half-year contract with York City FC, committing his future to the club.
