STAFF from a popular pub near York and the head of music at a top York school will be driving 2,500 miles across England and Wales in memory of a six-year-old who died of a rare form of childhood cancer.

Gary Penrose, the landlord of the Marcia Inn, Bishopthorpe, chef Nick Petch and colleague Nick Eden, plus Richard Mann of All Saints RC School, are taking part in the challenge for the charity Alice’s Arc, a children’s cancer awareness charity.
