• A POLICE cordon is still in place at a street in York after a woman in her 60s was reportedly found dead.

  As reported by The Press yesterday, several police vehicles and paramedics were on the scene in Albert Street, close to Walmgate, shortly before 11.30am on Thursday (May 8).

• A York man spent months fighting for his life in hospital after falling ill while on holiday – just hours after proposing to his girlfriend.
