Ernest Jones in Coney Street has been taped off this morning (Wednesday, October 25) with a smashed window to the right side of the entrance.
It is unclear at this time whether anything has been taken from the shop.
North Yorkshire Police have been approached for comment on the incident, we will update the article when they come back.
