TRIBUTES have been paid to a much-loved woman with a joy for life and heart of gold who has died at the age of 53.
Eleanor Livesey, a digital marketing specialist, had just celebrated her 19th anniversary at The Press when she died on Monday 2 June, following a short illness.
Born in Glasgow to Andrew and Ellen, Eleanor moved to Harrogate in 1980 and attended Harrogate Grammar School, later graduating from De Montfort University in Leicester with a Business and Finance degree.
She worked for NatWest Merchant Services and then in sales roles before joining Newsquest, The Press's parent company.
Eleanor worked mostly in field sales, selling advertising into The Press and other publications as well as online. For the past nine years, she was a marketing sales account manager for all of Newsquest's publications in York, North and East Yorkshire, and a specialist for Malton and Pocklington.
