EMERGENCY services at York Hospital are experiencing the worst pressures in their history after being hit by a devastating combination of Covid cases, flu cases, staff absence and bed blocking.

  Adam Anderson, 41, was fatally injured in the crash on the A59 near the A1(M) junction, west of York, on Wednesday (July 9) morning.
