Man arrested after York assault
At 7pm on Wednesday 7 December, police were called by the ambulance service with a report of an assault, believed to have occurred near the Blue Bridge in York city centre. A male victim aged in his 40s had suffered a head injury.
North Yorkshire Police officers attended the scene, and following an area search they arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with the assault. He remains in custody at this time.
