A main road between York and Hull has reopened after an earlier crash.

The A1079 was closed both ways from Common Road to Dauby Lane between Dunnington and Kexby this morning (February 17).

The road was closed after it had briefly re-opened soon after the incident.

It is now reported that the road is re-opened both ways and traffic has returned to normal.
