
Two people are due to appear in court today charged with drug offences after officers arrested three people and carried out a search warrant at a property in Leeds.
All three were arrested on 7 April following an extensive investigation into a county lines drug supply line bringing class A drugs into York from Leeds.
During the search warrant, officers recovered over £9,000 in cash and approximately 1kg of suspected cocaine.
A 19-year-old man from Leeds has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing criminal property (the money).
A 40-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possessing cannabis.
Both men were remanded in custody and are due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court today (9 April)
A 38-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine with intent to supply. She has been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
