Appeal following handbag theft in York

North Yorkshire Police, Appeals. (The jewellary that was stolen)

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about a theft of handbag that occurred in York.

It happened on St Marys Square in the city centre between 3-4 pm on Saturday 5 April 2025. The victim’s handbag was stolen from her walker which she uses for assistance.Inside the handbag was an amount of money and some jewellery that has sentimental value to her.
