Appeal after break-in at York business

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in York. It happened at a tailor's on Farndale Avenue overnight between 24 and 25 January 2023.

A concrete block was used to smash the front window of the property and a till was taken from inside.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, in particular anyone who may have seen the incident and could assist in identifying a suspect.
