Media Sales Executive
The Opportunity

YO1 Media is growing — and this role sits right at the centre of that growth.
This is a newly shaped commercial role, designed for someone who enjoys building momentum, opening conversations, and helping shape how a modern media business works with clients.
You’ll be trusted to be proactive, curious and hands-on. You’ll play a key role in how opportunities are identified, conversations are started, and campaigns are developed — with the freedom to grow into closing your own deals over time.
If you’re proactive, confident, curious about media, and excited by building something rather than stepping into something already defined — this role is for you.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, structure and curiosity to their work.
You might already have sales experience, or you might be early in your commercial career — what matters most is how you approach opportunity.

This role is not:
· A passive or purely account-management position
· Dependent on existing relationships or reputation alone
· Locked into rigid or overly corporate structures
Support & Development
You’ll be supported properly, especially in the early stages:
· Hands-on support from senior colleagues in meetings
· Coaching on campaign thinking, value-led selling and proposal building
· Clear progression towards owning meetings, opportunities and deals

What Success Looks Like
In your first few weeks
· Confident, consistent daily outreach
· Booking and managing your own meetings
· Learning how YO1 campaigns are shaped and sold
By Month One
· A visible, growing pipeline
· Joint meetings with senior support
· Stronger confidence in commercial conversations
By Month Three
· Consistently delivering around 14 meetings per week
· Higher-quality opportunities

Your Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
· Daily proactive outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn and networking
· Building and managing your own pipeline of prospects
· Booking and preparing for your own meetings
Meetings & Opportunity Development
· Leading early-stage client conversations
· Understanding business goals and current marketing activity
· Bringing in senior support when appropriate
Pipeline & Commercial Development
· Maintaining clear next steps across opportunities
· Learning how to position campaigns around value and outcomes
· Contributing ideas that help campaigns stand out creatively and commercially
